On the midnight shift for the last 25 years, he has been taking 40 to 50 phone calls a night for five nights a week from all over North America encouraging callers to trust God with their practical, emotional, and spiritual needs. His journey includes milestones such as graduating from Central (Horizon) Bible College in Saskatoon, Sask., serving in pastoral ministry in four provinces across Western Canada, and participating in community outreach counselling candidates for salvation at two crusades of renowned evangelists.

Mr. Piper’s commitment to faith has remained steadfast. From 2003 to 2019 he drove a bus every week for his church’s children’s ministry and for 14 of those years taught a weekly Bible study in a downtown Hamilton high rise senior’s residence.
