My name is Clementene E. Hughes. I’ve been a wife for fifty-four years with two adult children, four adult grandchildren, and two adolescent great grandchildren. Life has been an abundance of trials, triumphs, surprises, and heavenly interventions.

Having worked for General Electric Battery Business Manufacturing Company for twenty-two years and then moving on to work for the Alachua County School System of Florida for twenty years was a perfect scenario for me that prompted me to write to appeal to children’s intellect.

While working as a Paraprofessional II in the school system with Exceptional Student Education (ESE) in the classroom, I had the privilege of observing and listening to children’s stories and watching their behaviors. Yes, working in that environment enticed me to publish three children’s books.

Now that I have been a retiree for five years from the school system, there is still a desire in me to teach and share with children or with whomever will listen.

Right now, we’re waiting for the next interesting and exciting thing to happen, and of course that would be the second coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah!
